Having many things in my mind right now causing me losing focus on which one to prioritize and to me whatever I have in minds are important. When this happens, it leads to procrastinations.
*sigh*
At times, procrastination on certain things has its own good and bad. When it turn out to be good, I feel proud about it (even brag about it) and when it turn out bad, I would probably break down and cried. Emo as it may see but that is me and who doesn’t anyway.
Today, I skip attending a staff meeting where we get to meet with our Chancellor, Mr. Gordon Martin and Vice Chancellor, Professor Jeanette Hacket from the main campus, Perth. They are here to attend Curtin Sarawak Campus Degree Graduation Ceremony tonight at Imperial Suite & Hotel, Miri. As I’ll be on duty tonight, I'll be leaving office two hours early and that also mean I have to leave behind whatever pending office tasks that I have now.
*sigh*
On the other hand, it’s a relief to me because it gives some ample time to get ready for the Indonesia trip which has postponed to mid of June. A blessing in a disguise, I would say.
*wink wink*
Nevertheless plan to go clubbing soon after the graduation ceremony has been made with the party gang and I can get ‘wet and wild’ at Thai Bar later.
Oopsss…I nearly forget!! I can’t stay up late as I have a volleyball match the next day. Damn… :(
However, I’ll be going to party all day long on the last day of Miri International Jazz Festival this Saturday woohoo…so that will compensate my clubbing-mania. Thank you for the complimentary ticket, hugs and kisses to you, Larry. ;)
The plan to organize a photography session among the MiriCommunity.net portal website members is still on hold at the moment. That simply because I was involved the upcoming Dog Photogenic Contest (playing a small role in the organizing committee panel) organized by the MiriCommunity.net as well and at the same still working on the post about the contest so stay tuned.
Not enough with that sort of workload, I signed up as a volunteer in an upcoming Dog Show held at Bulatan Park, Miri on the 25th May in conjunction of Miri May Festival to commemorate the Miri City Anniversary celebration. Crazy or stupid as it may sound but I find it as a way of me to meet people and see how far I can handle multi-tasks.
At the mean time, I am still contemplating on suitable date for a briefing session on the upcoming Rainforest World Music Festival in July. I’ve compiled the list of those who had signed up as volunteers in response to my search post for volunteers. I think the appropriate date would be after the Dog Show event. I think so lah if there is nothing ad-hoc matter arises. ;p
Not to mention my household pending matters.
*deep sigh*
I think I need to sit down and go through my list to prioritize thing, really.
For now, I need a massage, a real smoothing massage to get me ‘high’ for a while.

Unfortunately, prioritization would mean the procrastination of another item on your checklist.
Therefore, especially if it's work related, one boss telling you to prioritize your work means that he is also telling you to procrastinate your work.
ian,
yup i couldn't agree more with you but then again its all goes back to how you manage your time. :)
